Incoming Erasmus+ teaching mobilities

Are you an academic from one of our Erasmus+ KA131 partner universities?

If you teach at one of our Erasmus+ KA131 partner universities, and you wish to apply for a teaching mobility at UPT in the framework of a valid Erasmus+ agreement:

  1. Contact your university’s Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator to check the requirements in your home university regarding Erasmus+ teaching grants.
  2. It is mandatory to have a valid Erasmus+ agreement in place in the correct ISCED field in order to undertake an Erasmus+ teaching mobility.
  3. Fill in this application form and send it by e-mail to incoming@upt.ro. It is advisable to do this as far in advance as possible in order to arrange for your teaching activities to be integrated into the existing programme.
  4. Teaching mobilities need to be scheduled during the teaching periods of the academic year (see fact sheet below for the academic calendar)
  5. Before the start of the mobility the Staff mobility for teaching agreement should be signed by all parties involved.
  6. You will receive an invitation letter from the Erasmus+ Service of UPT after you submit the documents at points 3 and 5.
  7. You will receive an certificate confirming the mobility period from the Erasmus+ Service of UPT during your last mobility day.

If you teach at an university outside our Erasmus+ KA131 partner network, and you wish to apply for a teaching mobility at UPT, please contact your university’s Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator to check the requirements in your home university for setting up a new Erasmus+ bilateral agreement. Are you an academic from one of our Erasmus+ KA171 partner universities?

If you teach at one of our Erasmus+ KA171 partner universities, and you wish to apply for a teaching mobility at UPT in the framework of a valid Erasmus+ agreement:

  1. Contact your university’s Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator to check the availability of funding and the internal selection rules.
  2. It is mandatory to have a valid Erasmus+ agreement in place in the correct ISCED field in order to undertake an Erasmus+ teaching mobility.
  3. Nomination – done by your university’s International Relations Office to incoming@upt.ro

  6. Copy of passport
  7. CV
  8. Teaching agreement – must be signed by the participant and the sending university https://app.box.com/s/0kugr2w76i8urpap6wskkhu47d27l78f
  9. Copy of bank statement (must be an account in EUR or Multicurrency) where the grant will be transferred – must contain the name of the bank, the name of the account holder, IBAN or account number, SWIFT code of the bank
  10. Copy of insurance valid for the entire period of mobility – ideally should cover medical aspects, accidents and civil liability

Once the first 5 documents have been provided to UPT, UPT will issue the participant an invitation letter. At this point, if needed, the staff member should check if there are any visa requirements by visiting https://eviza.mae.ro/home. If required, the staff member should apply for a visa on the same website.

Once all the above documents have been provided to UPT, UPT will issue the financial contract to the staff member. At this point the staff-member may conduct the mobility.

If you teach at an university outside our Erasmus+ KA171 partner network, and you wish to apply for a teaching mobility at UPT, please contact your university’s Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator to check the requirements in your home university for setting up a new Erasmus+ bilateral agreement. Please see click here for details on how to send us an agreement proposal. An agreement signed in the year Y, will be included in the project submitted in the year Y+1, and will be implemented starting in October of the year Y+1.
